Curse of Sirius is an upcoming fantasy adventure comic with dark themes and occasional horror elements. The comic is planned to be released around late 2026 to early 2027.

About
“Set during the early 1900s in the fictional continent of Caelestis, the story follows a young prince cursed to die before he could grow old enough to defy the stars.
Amid the downfall of his home empire, Prince Elios learns that his curse is one that has been passed down by a previous life. Now, with magic forged from the sun, and allies with similar burdens by his side, he must fight to defy fate and prove that he is more than just his past life's shadow.”
warning: The comic may contain depictions of mental and physical abuse, violence, and body horror. Viewer discretion will be advised.

Stories of the past that are now no longer believed in as truth. In an age where magic is scarce and fragile, mighty tales of magic and stars are remembered only as fantasy.
With multiple tales and legends existing throughout Caelestis, a widely recurring myth across the continent recounts the tale of a heroic figure who confronted four generals believed to have been gifted magic by a star. Despite numerous variations, the narrative consistently concludes with the hero’s triumph and the generals’ damnation — their souls cursed by the very star who once blessed them.
The stars persist as a recurring motif in Caelestis culture. These beings are ever-present in mythology and folklore, and are highly regarded and celebrated to this day.
Depicted in legends as divine, the stars are believed to be born from the whispers of the universe itself, possessing magic that no mortal by themself can contain.
Known as the Heart of the Earth, the Caelestis continent serves as a crossroads for countless people from different places across the world.
Recorded as one of the oldest lands known to humankind, Caelestis also remains as the sole region where faint traces of magic continue to exist.

Curse of Sirius is a passion project that I came up with back in 2022. Currently, my goal is to launch the comic and hopefully have it fully completed one day. (A tough challenge for someone with an easily distracted brain such as mine…Nevertheless, I shall try my best to persevere!)
The story is a love letter to many of my favorite tropes such as friendship and found family, and concepts such as reincarnation and finding each other in different lifetimes. (how cheesy!) Though the latter two are more common in romance, I wanted to explore them through a platonic lens as I felt there'd been a lack of stories that celebrate love that isn't romantic. Thus, this story was born.
At its core — despite the heavy themes that surround it — Curse of Sirius is also a tribute to the whimsies of childhood in a world that tries to take it away. It is a story that means a lot to me, and I hope to communicate something with it. Though, it seems ambitious, the story itself is something I create out of enjoyment. And even if it may not turn out the best, I hope others can find joy in it, just as I do!
Moving on to my plans with it, the genre for the comic is Young Adult. The comic will be made available on platforms such as Webtoon Canvas, Tapas, and Tumblr, with the main platform for reading it being Webtoon Canvas.
For now, this site mainly serves as a hub for the comic and a space for extra content and details about it. Links for the comic after release will be soon available here.
